Zatea Strengthens Strategic Partnership with Schneider Electric as Official Alliance Partner
At Zatea, we are proud to announce that we have been appointed as an official Schneider Electric Alliance Partner. This milestone formalises our long-standing collaboration with Schneider Electric and reaffirms our commitment to delivering advanced motion control solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
As a Danish company specialising in industrial automation, Zatea has earned a reputation as a trusted partner for some of the world’s leading companies in sectors where the demands for testing, validation, documentation, and product and patient safety are exceptionally high.

Building on a Strong Foundation of PacDrive 3 Expertise
Most of our solutions are built on Schneider Electric’s PacDrive 3 automation platform, which has become the standard for high-performance motion control. Our team has been working with these technologies since the early days of ELAU, the predecessor to PacDrive, and has closely followed the platform’s evolution.
“PacDrive 3 is a high-performance system with powerful software that makes it easy to build and structure even very complex projects. Most of our customers rely on PacDrive 3, and we see tremendous potential to develop further future solutions based on this platform, which is why PacDrive 3 and Schneider Electric will remain a central focus for Zatea in the years ahead,“ explains Jakob Rostgaard Steen.

A Unique Approach to Retrofit Projects
A significant part of Zatea’s success is our proven ability to upgrade older production facilities—so-called retrofits—without extended downtime. Our team handles the complete design, development, and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of new solutions in-house at our headquarters in Skovlunde, Denmark.
Once the solution has been thoroughly tested and documented, our specialists coordinate the implementation down to the smallest detail. In most cases, we can complete the on-site upgrade in just one week, allowing our customers to resume production with minimal disruption.
